TRUE or FALSE? A Small-Medium Business can develop its own digital adoption plan
đź”´ FALSE đź”´
To qualify for grants, only a registered advisor in the CDAP Digital Advisor Marketplace can develop the digital adoption plan for your SMB.
Registered digital advisors are committed to being independent, objective and must:
âś… be neutral in providing advice and assistance to SMB clients;
âś… represent only themselves or their company/organization;
âś… avoid any conflict of interest in providing advisory services to SMB clients;
âś… take appropriate measures to ensure the confidentiality and protection of information provided by SMB clients;
âś… act in a manner that respects individual differences and contributes to a harassment-free workplace (virtually or in person).
Among other things, digital advisors cannot recommend any specific vendor in the digital adoption plan. Therefore, plans must be vendor neutral.
CDAP believes that adherence to these principles will lead to more constructive trusting relationships and successful outcomes for SMBs, resulting in faster economic recovery and increased competitiveness in the marketplace.
It is not in the best interest of any registered Digital Advisor to act contrary to these principles or risk being excluded from the program’s Digital Advisor Marketplace.
